Abstracts for presentations and posters to be presented at the Queensland 2019 conferences are currently being accepted.
All water industry personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of urban, rural and industrial water related infrastructure for the management, conveyance, treatment, discharge and reuse of water and trade wastes are invited to submit an abstract for consideration.

Expressions of interest for presentations at the Water Industry Safety Event (WISE) are currently being accepted.
All water industry personnel involved in safety or in the the operation and maintenance of urban, rural and industrial water related infrastructure for the management, conveyance, treatment, discharge and reuse of water and trade wastes are invited to submit an item for consideration.

The WISE Technical Committee will organise the technical program and has sole discretion concerning the selection of presentations.

Congratulations to Tony Cover from Goondiwindi Regional Council on being awarded the 2018 Queensland Operator of the Year. WIOA also congratulates the other finalist Gary Fenwick from Queensland Urban Utilities and Glen Ziph from Trility. The award was presented as part of the WIOA Queensland Conference & Exhibition held in Logan.

Congratulations to David Cashen from Bathurst Regional Council on being awarded the 2018 NSW Operator o the year. WIOA also congratulates the other finalist James Davis from Upper Hunter Shire Council. The award was presented as part of the WIOA NSW Conference & Exhibition held in Tamworth.
